Principal's Message

Welcome to those of you who are new to Franklin and welcome back to all of our other parents! We're looking forward to working with you and encourage you to be involved as much as possible this year.

Parents will find that this staff is friendly, supportive, and enthusiastic about working with you. It's very important that we continue to establish and maintain effective communication and work together to provide structure and support for all of our students. We greatly appreciate the participation and support of our parents and community. That participation is critical because our students will be most successful when there is a partnership between home and school.

Please remember to look for our school newsletter every couple of weeks on Friday. A printed copy of the newsletter is sent home, emailed, and it is also available on our website. The dates the newsletters go home are highlighted on our calendar. The newsletter will help to keep you informed about happenings in the classroom, school events including PTO information, concerts, etc., and area events. Many times teachers include what students are studying and how you can support and reinforce that learning with students at home. Your support and involvement make a difference!

We're very excited about working with you and helping your child have a happy and successful school year!

Sincerely,

Joyce Hakey, Principal
